Travis Lingenfelter was elected as District 1 Supervisor in 2020. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and attended school and graduated from Kingman High School in 1994. He served in the U.S. Air Force before finishing college. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ; and a Master of Public Administration degree from prestigious military school Norwich University, Northfield, VT.
Supervisor Lingenfelter has previously served as District 4 Trustee on the Mohave Community College District Governing Board from 2010-2014; as Kingman City Councilman from 2016-2018; and as Kingman Vice-Mayor from 2018-2020. He is currently a participating alternate member on the Governor’s Water Policy Council: Rural Groundwater Subcommittee and takes the lead for the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on all rural water issues.
During his professional career he has served as Mohave County Legislative Liaison & Special Projects Manager; State Executive Director of Mohave Educational Services Cooperative; Mohave County Director of Economic Development; Mohave County Procurement Director; and as the Senior Procurement Officer for the City of Tucson, Arizona.
He currently owns and operates Doctor C LLC, which manufactures and sells The Right C® in brick-and-mortar and online nutrition stores throughout the United States.
He is the father of two; a 22-year-old daughter who recently graduated from the University of Iowa with Honors, and a 15-year-old son who attends high school in Kingman and is on the swim team. His interests include spending time with his family, economic & workforce development, infrastructure development, exercise, and travel.
