Rod Gilleo

Rod Gilleo is a local Kingman attorney seeking election to serve the people of Mohave County as Judge of the Superior Court – Division 7.
Rod was raised in Kingman after his family moved to the area when he was 3 months old. Growing up in Kingman, Rod regularly participated in local youth
groups and was an avid participant in local sports teams playing varsity football and basketball at Kingman High School.

After graduating from Kingman High, Rod left the area to further his education. Rod graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelor’s degree majoring
in Criminal Justice. Rod subsequently attended the University of North Dakota School of Law where he graduated 2nd in his class. Rod later took the July 2020
Arizona Bar Exam where he was recognized with the 3rd highest score on the exam.

While in Law School, Rod regularly returned to his hometown to work as a legal intern at the Mohave County Attorney’s Office. Starting in January 2020, Rod
began working with the County Attorney’s Office full time as a prosecutor and has continued to work there to this day. His intention then, as it is now, was to serve
and give back to the community that had given him so much and set him up for future success.

While with the County Attorney’s Office, Rod was quickly trusted with handling a large felony caseload. In November of 2020, Rod was assigned to work with the
Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) where he primarily focused on prosecuting drug traffickers and combatting the increasing
number of illegal drugs coming into Arizona and Mohave County. In November 2021, Rod was assigned as the lead attorney for MAGNET and was responsible for
handling the most serious drug cases that our County sees. Rod worked closely with local law enforcement and prosecuted numerous cases involving millions of
dollars’ worth of illegal drugs. During his time with MAGNET, Rod was nominated in the summer of 2022 for the Rising Star Prosecutor Award at the
Arizona Prosecuting Attorney’s Advisory Council annual conference and was recognized by MAGNET in February of 2025 for his years of service towards the
war on drugs. As a prosecutor, Rod has extensive experience having handled cases involving charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, robbery, theft of
means of transportation, and numerous others.

Rod’s mission in seeking election is to bring his unique combination of knowledge, experience, and understanding of the people of Mohave County to the Judicial
Bench. Rod is committed to upholding the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of Arizona, and ensuring that fairness and justice are available to all.
