My name is Mike Gannuscio. I am a long-time resident of Mohave County, married to my wonderful wife Kenna, and together we own K&M Hay Company. I am a family man who has supported our local community in any way that I can.
Initially, I did this through taking a pay and comfort cut to become a MCSO deputy in 2006. I saw the growing issues in our county, and I wanted to be part of the solution to help our residents feel safe and secure in the face of increased crime, drug, and trafficking offenses.
I completed several levels of training, including becoming a boating officer, and received the Mohave County Life Saving Award, among other commendations. After approximately eight years of service, I was injured on-duty and returned to my business.
Over the years, I have carefully watched the MCSO and disagree with the current leadership. I will follow my platform to create the best work environment for our deputies, with compensation that allows them to provide for their families and future, while also forming a positive relationship with the community, especially our often-forgotten rural areas that desperately need and deserve our presence.
A vote for me is a vote for a constitutional sheriff who will modernize our department, put an end to wasted tax payer funds, and foster a strong bond between deputies and the residents we serve.
