For the past 33 years Sheriff Doug Schuster has served the citizens of Mohave County with honor and distinction. Doug started his career in 1989 working in the Mohave County Jail. In 1991 became a deputy sheriff, promoting to the rank of sergeant in 1996. In 2016 he ran for the Office of Sheriff and was elected. He was re-elected in 2020. He is now seeking his 3rd term in Office.
Since taking Office, Doug has transformed the Sheriff’s Office into a modern-day Law Enforcement Agency. He believes in treating everyone with respect and dignity and expects his staff to do the same. He is proud to serve as your Sheriff and has accomplished many things throughout his lengthy career. He is extremely proud of the continued reduction in crime under his watch. While our population continues to grow, property crimes continue to decrease!
