CATHERINE LOPEZ-RAJANIEMI (R)

Meet Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi, a dedicated community leader and entrepreneur deeply rooted in
the heart of Mohave County. Since relocating from Southern California in 1977 at the tender age of
seven, Catherine has been an eyewitness and key contributor to the remarkable evolution of our
community. Her journey from a young observer to a central figure in Mohave County's development is
a testament to her unwavering commitment to fostering growth, prosperity, and unity within our
vibrant community.
Catherine's entrepreneurial spirit was kindled in her early years, inspired by her father, a local
business owner of Mike's Brake and Alignment. Here, she absorbed the essence of hard work,
discipline, integrity, and pride—not just in one's work but in the community's wellbeing. Her father,
also a co-founder of the "River Cruizer’s," instilled in her the importance of community service, a
value that has guided her throughout her life. At the age of 17, Catherine embarked on a professional
journey in banking and mortgage lending, showcasing her innate leadership and pioneering spirit by
establishing the first grocery store bank branch inside Bullhead City's Walmart in 2000.
However, her entrepreneurial journey reached a milestone in 2004 when she opened the Bullhead
City Insurance Center. Starting with her parents and herself as the first clients, she has since grown
the business into a trusted community pillar, licensed in Arizona, California, and Nevada. Catherine's
business mantra, "Striving to become a lifelong partner with my clients," reflects her deep
commitment to personal and professional integrity. Beyond her business achievements, Catherine's
heart truly belongs to Mohave County. Alongside her husband Glen, a fellow entrepreneur and
community supporter, they co-own Kitchen, Bath & Beyond and Mountain View Homes, contributing
significantly to the local economy and housing landscape. Their partnership extends beyond business
into a shared life filled with love, raising two beautiful daughters who are actively involved in the
family's ventures and community service.
Catherine's community involvement is extensive and impactful. A proud member of the Bullhead City
Rotary Club, River Cruizer’s, and the Mohave Valley Contractors Association, she has also been a
driving force behind the annual Home and Garden Expo. Her dedication is further exemplified through
her roles in the Community Pride Advocates for The Gary Keith Park Improvements and her decade-
long service on the Fort Mohave Mesa Fire Board. Catherine's past contributions are equally
commendable, including nine years on the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,
leadership in Girl Scouts, and participation in the Women’s Council, marking the inception of the
Boom Box Parade, Western Auction, and the Leadership Program. At the core of Catherine's
professional success and community service is her belief in community stewardship. Bullhead City
Insurance Center is not just a business; it's a platform for supporting the community through
sponsorships and volunteer work.
Catherine's life story is a narrative of leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to her
community. Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi represents the soul of Mohave County—a place she has
called home since childhood. Her journey from a young girl watching her community grow to a leading
figure in its ongoing development and prosperity is a powerful reminder of the impact one individual
can have on their community. With strong family values, a deep connection to her roots, and a

relentless drive to give back, Catherine embodies the spirit of community leadership and
entrepreneurial excellence.
